My Christmas Tree Decor

Every year I go out and purchase all new Christmas decorations as I seem to always select a new colour scheme I haven't done before. This year I wanted to focus on reusing and repurposing what I have in storage to help the environment and save money.

So this Christmas I went with a colour scheme that basically mirrors our house being white, gold and navy.

All the details of the tree decor are below. If you have seen anything via my Instagram that I may not have listed please don't hesitate to send me a DM.

I purchased our flocked tree (flocked = covered in faux snow) many years ago from a little boutique store called Casa Living located in Highpoint Shopping Centre. I visited the centre this week and they do still have them in stock however they have doubled in price (now $299) and don't have an online store. I also noticed the store across the walkway from them called Eloquence had the exact same tree.

White is of course my go-to colour at Christmas time. I feel it's timeless and an ode to a white Christmas.

The white glitter baubles are from Target. Click here to view.

The ground floor of our house is covered in gold so of course this year I had to add an element of gold to the tree.

These gold baubles are also from Target. You can view the smaller baubles here and the larger baubles here.

I have eight faux white magnolia stems that I thread through the branches of the tree to fill out the tree.

I purchased the stems from A Little Thyme however they don't currently have them online. They have stated they can order them in for those wanting to place an order over the phone.

The star I purchased from Target almost five years ago and it's no longer currently available. Instead I have found the closest option which just happens to also be from Target and a total steal at only $5. Click here to view the star.

I purchased these glass clear baubles from Lincraft 3 years ago and filled them with white feathers also purchased from Lincraft. Unfortunately neither of these items are on their website so instead I have linked from Amazon.

To view the clear baubles click here.

And to view the white feathers found at Spotlight click here.

My white fluffy tree skirt is from Kmart. I've been considering a higher tree collar however at this stage I haven't found one I love.

You can view the fluffy white skirt here.

To add some navy to the tree I purchased this velvet ribbon from Provincial Living and decided to make my own bows. It's the most luxurious ribbon and is the deepest navy it almost looks black. Click here to view.

The gold foam presents I also purchased many years ago and they were from The Reject Shop. I have however found some here on eBay.

The lights can be found pretty much anywhere. From memory I purchased them from Kmart and they are just little clear globes.. They have been going strong now for maybe 15 years. I won't link the lights just because they are so easy to locate. I think you can even purchase them from your local grocery store.

*This post is not sponsored. I purchased all the products myself and chose to share to those who may be interested in recreating the same look in your own home.
